Responsible Gaming
The staff of IPC Poker is happy to provide an online venue for enjoying the wonderful game of poker. For the overwhelming majority of players, it is just that: an enjoyable way to spend a few hours with friends over a game of cards. Some players, however, let the game affect other areas of their lives, and that’s when they may need to seek professional help.
Many times, compulsive gamblers cannot stop regardless of whether they have a couple winning sessions or a couple losing sessions in a row. Their rationalization when they win is “I’m running good and have to keep on playing.” When they lose, their rationalization is “I’m stuck, need to get back even, then I’ll quit.” Both rationalizations are traps and need to be modified or they can cause big problems in your personal or professional lives.
In our quest to help monitor compulsive gambling, we have set daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits for our players. We are also able to lower these deposit limits for players upon request. Feel free to contact our support if you would like your personal limits lowered in order to put a firmer control over your play.
If you feel you may have a problem with compulsive gambling, be it online or offline, please visit Gamblers Anonymous website.
