IPC Poker Quick Tour
Here's a preview and a guide for navigating the IPC Poker cardroom. We have strived to make our software as user-friendly as possible.
Upon launching the IPC Poker software from our desktop icon , the enter splash screen appears. Please allow 3-9 seconds for the software to launch.
Here you can see the games we spread and the tables currently in play. Use the tabs at top to see what’s happening on the site at that very moment. Select the tab of your favorite poker game. After selecting a tab, the tables currently offering the chosen game are shown, along with the stakes, limit structure, number of players playing in the game, and the number of players waiting. If you click once on a specific table, the window at right shows the players currently playing in the game, as well as those on the wait list.
To go to a specific table, double-click that table in the listing, or select the table and click the "Go to Table" button in the bottom-right corner. You'll immediately be taken to that table.
At the top of the screen you’ll find several pull down menus. Here is where you'll be able to customize your options, request histories, view your account status, etc. We encourage you to click on all of the game options to familiarize yourself with the game.
To play for real money you will be prompted to visit the Cashier. Click on Buy Chips to select your preferred payment method.
Note the three large action buttons on the bottom right of screen. When it is your turn to act, the action buttons appear with all of your playing options.
Players can put an image to identify them at the table. This image can be any photo or graphic, even an actual photo of you!
At the bottom-left of the screen is you’re the chat window. Chat allows you to talk to your fellow players, as well as anyone currently watching your game.
Click on a player’s image and you’ll have ability to enter notes about his play. This could help you strategize better in future next time you come face to face with this player.
By clicking on the dealer’s chip rack, you can customize the look of your screen by selecting the color of the table, color of cards, etc. Here you can also elect to bring more chips to the table.
Immediately above the text interface are the automatic in-turn action boxes. "Sit out next hand," means exactly that; if you want to take a break from the action, click this box and you will not be dealt in the next hand. "Auto-post blinds" automatically posts the forced bets for players. This speeds up the game considerably and we recommend all players use the auto-post box whenever possible.
Play in one of our exciting multi-table tournaments!
At the conclusion of your playing sessions you will see an exit screen that looks like this.
We’re dedicated to making your experience a positive one. Click here to download our free software right now and you’ll be having fun playing poker with hundreds of players from around the world in the next few minutes. |
